Fractal:Server
Fractal:Server brings the power of Fractal Maps to your web-based applications and services. If you produce key reports that need to be shared with a wide audience of internal personnel or external clients, then Fractal:Server will let you control the distribution of these reports in a Fractal format more quickly and easily than is possible using a desktop-based solution. In addition, Fractal:Server can be used to batch process very large data sources to enable faster consumption by Fractal:Intelligence Reader Edition and other editions.
Offering the same breadth and depth of vision and speed of access as Fractal:Intelligence to its end users, Fractal:Server allows web administrators and other power users to:
- quickly configure Fractal Maps for use in a web page
- deliver stacked Fractal Map web components to ensure optimum delivery format for all users
- query your data sources for the latest live information or deliver cached information to minimize loads on your architecture
- easily preserve permissions and security settings in your existing web and data architecture
- script advanced interactions with your other server-based applications to leverage Fractal Maps for your existing web services
By moving your mouse over a circle and "hovering" over it (by keeping the mouse still) for a short time, you will see labels appear to show you the titles of the page you are hovering over (at 12 o'clock) and the pages it is linked to.
In addition, the Fractal Map will show a "crumb trail" for the page you are viewing by highlighting the relevant circles in red. The smallest red circle represents the page you are viewing and any "parent" pages higher up in the website structure will also be highlighted red showing you the route you would take to reach the page. Note that the homepage itself is never coloured red in this way.
