Be among the first to experience Fractal:Edge's award-winning data visualization embedded within Microsoft Excel® 2007!
The Fractal Map Add-in for ExcelŽ 2007 delivers Fractal:Edge's award-winning data visualization system to a broad base of Business Intelligence and Information Workers for the first time, and makes full use of the new ribbon, custom task pane and breakthrough pivot table technology incorporated in the latest version of Office.

The Fractal Map Add-in transforms large pivot table reports into an interactive pictorial format that is faster to drill through and understand.
Pivot tables have always been a powerful way to summarize large spreadsheets, and Excel® 2007 makes it even easier to create and manipulate them with a new UI and powerful features. Beyond 2 dimensions, however, pivot tables can also quickly become too large and complex for effective analysis.
The Fractal Map Add-in for Excel® 2007 allows you to:
- Navigate and drill-down through even the largest pivot tables extremely quickly
- Use powerful conditional formatting to accurately identify outliers and trends in your data at a glance
- Expose complex reports created using SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services in a readily understandable format
- Help management and staff get to the information that matters to them more quickly and easily, so they spend less time finding problems and more time fixing them
Start making time to make decisions...

By moving your mouse over a circle and "hovering" over it (by keeping the mouse still) for a short time, you will see labels appear to show you the titles of the page you are hovering over (at 12 o'clock) and the pages it is linked to.
In addition, the Fractal Map will show a "crumb trail" for the page you are viewing by highlighting the relevant circles in red. The smallest red circle represents the page you are viewing and any "parent" pages higher up in the website structure will also be highlighted red showing you the route you would take to reach the page. Note that the homepage itself is never coloured red in this way.
